GEMCC were formed in 1997 in Leeds. Club meetings were originally held in The Grove pub and members were primarily engineers by trade, hence the name “Grove Engineers Motorcycle Club”. These days, members come from all trades and walks of life. GEMCC hold the “Sapphire and Steel” rally in June each year.
