The National Chopper Club was founded in 1973 in England. The NCC is now also represented in Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Holland, Belgium, Norway, Macedonia and Germany; probably the largest custom bike club in the world. The goal of the founders was to build a better understanding between chopper enthusiasts, other road users and the general public. In addition, the safety and design standards of choppers should be improved and their drivers brought together.
Choppers do not have to be today, all converted bikes are allowed – no matter if Chopper, Bobber, Cafe Racer, Street-fighter, Low-rider or Trikes. Every year the Chopper Club organizes its Euro Run. It takes place alternately in different countries.
