Coffin Scratchers MCC Midlands were formed at a rally in June 2002.
“This page is now dedicated to ‘Big Al’ who sadly passed away, G.B.N.F – R.I.P & the Coffin Scratchers MCC folded soon after”
We were all sitting around, beers in hand disillusioned with the club we were currently members of!
We weren’t happy with the way that it was being run; So, Big Al and a few other member’s thought about starting a club of their own, with the idea being that members would run the club as a non-political and easy going side patch club .
At the following rally that was in August, we had to think of a name and the design for a patch, firstly the name, we all came up with a name and there was some good and not so good suggestions.
Finally a member came up with the name ‘Coffin Scratches MCC’ which was their late brothers CB Handle, he was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident.
So there was the name; Coffin Scratchers MCC, then we had to come up with a patch, after a while we came up with the right patch design which we still use today.
Finally, on the 1st of January 2003 the club was born. We are looking for new members in the Midlands, we are a side patch club with no political views , we accept bikes & trikes and the 125cc new riders are all welcome, plus the lady riders we also have a junior section where the kids can be involved as well.
