Van Dieman MC from Weston-Super-Mare in Somerset are a sociable MC that enjoys time on the road, a few beers & lots of laughs.
Tasmania was formerly known as “Vandieman’s Land” and our name ‘Van Dieman MC’ comes courtesy of two thieves from Banwell back in the 1840’s that stole the Lords horses and were extradited to Tasmania.
Our back patch pays tribute to this by portraying the ‘Tasmanian Devil’ in front of Banwell Castle.
The Van Dieman MC were originally an MCC based at ‘The Brewers Arms’ in Banwell.
We are a diverse group of riders with a wide mix of characters, we have some that are relatively new to the saddle & some that have been on since the dawn of time-Ok a little after that.
If you are interested in joining us you must have a bike & be legal with a full licence, there are no restrictions on make or model.
Van Dieman MC also have a “support” group of people that like the club scene but don’t ride or don’t want the full commitment of a MC status. If this sounds appealing to you let us know.
